This Cherry & Maple Armoire was made using traditional mortise and tenon construction
. The frame is solid Maple with floating maple veneer core panels on the sides. The
four doors were constructed using a solid maple frame with solid cherry raised panels.
I selected uniformly figured boards that where long enough for the same grain to
run from the top door to the bottom door. These pictures do not show the grain detail
as well as I would have like. A true heirloom piece, this armoire will last for generations.
For an entertainment Armoire , I can configured the top doors to open and
then slide back into the case. The bottom case can be customized to hold your electronic
gear, tapes, CDs/ DVDs or even LPs for the nostalgic music lover. The shelving can
be adjusted to any height required.
